Eremerus, also endearingly referred to as ‘foxtail lilies’ are tall, stately perennials with rosettes of strap-shaped basal leaves that produce dense star-shaped flowers on erect leafless stems in early to midsummer. Their leaves and flowers grow from a central crown from which the fleshy roots radiate giving the bare root crow a starfish like appearance. With a stem height that can reach up to 140cm and a long life, the foxtail lily is ideal for larger arrangements in the home set to leave a lasting impression amongst guests.
