To keep your peonies looking fresh on both indoor and outdoor tablescapes, follow these simple steps.

Ensure the water in your vases is clean and cool. Should you be displaying them outside, let your peonies hydrate indoors for a few hours after delivery before moving them outside.
Keep your peonies away from drafts, wind, direct sunlight or extreme weathers.
For outdoor tablescapes, create a shady environment before arranging.
Spray petals lightly with water to hydrate them throughout the day. However, avoid doing so in direct sun, as this may scorch the petals.

When are peonies in season?

Fleeting but beloved, peony season occurs from the end of spring to very early summer, for approximately eight weeks at a maximum. In the UK, this may cover the end of April to early June, while they don't tend to arrive in the US until May.
