Toxic to pets: No
As well as being a popular indoor houseplant, the nephrolepis exaltata 'Green lady', better known as Boston Fern or ‘Sword Fern’, cleans the air of pollutants, whilst being super-easy to care for. With its stiff, upright fronds and evergreen colouring, this fern plant is guaranteed to bring a luscious feel to its surroundings.
How to care for your plant
Humidity
The Boston Fern really loves humidity. Mist a couple of times a week or, even better, keep your plant in the bathroom, allowing it to happily bask in steam.
Light Conditions
Like a lot of ferns, the Boston Fern is happiest in partial shade, so a room with dim light is ideal for this houseplant.
Watering
The Boston Fern likes moist soil, so check weekly and water whenever the top inch of soil is dry. Let any excess water drain off.
