Lilac symbolizes youthful innocence and confidence. White lilac symbolizes humility and innocence, while purple lilac symbolizes first love.
Aside from Roses, there is no flower as aromatic as Lilacs. Of the two, Lilacs have a stronger scent that carries quite a distance. Unfortunately, Lilacs bloom for only a very brief couple of weeks in the Spring – their fleetingness only enhancing their beauty.*
The Lilac is a tall stem (measurement approximate).
Recut diagonally, split base of branch with secateurs to increase water flow and remove all excess foliage before placing in cool water. All foliage should be above the waterline. Your Lilac will respond best to temperatures between 10 and 15 degrees C.
Use specific plant food for Lilac and they will respond well to changing water regularly.
*As this is a naturally occurring product, there will be a slight size and colour variation throughout the season.
