The best thing about Fall?

Turning leaves, cashmere, a fire in the fireplace, and the crispness in the air.

Your favourite fall flower:

I absolutely love our rich and lush autumnal hydrangea in colours such as sage blush, cherry crush and lime kiss. They really evoke the warmth of the season and are impactful and long lasting.

Favourite floral scent:

Tuberose.

What are your FLOWERBX must-haves this season?

I am obsessed with our Autumnal wreath which gives me so much joy every time I come home. It's so inviting and feels almost festive when we all need something to celebrate.

Thanksgiving or Christmas?

BOTH.

Describe your perfect table setting:

Bailey bud vases with delicate seasonal flowers dancing down the table, vintage tableware, crockery that matches the flowers tonally, and real friends around the table.

Heels or flats?

Flats for day, heels for evening.

Biggest no-no's when it comes to floral arrangements?

Mixing too many colours or shades or varieties. Less is more with flowers, which is why I am so thrilled to announce we’re launching our new virtual floral workshops this Fall to learn more top tips for flower-arranging.

What's your favourite dinner party dish to cook?

Vegan Lasagne and kale Caesar salad.

The best thing about staying indoors

Time with my family.

What are your autumn half-term plans with your children?

As we are entering into our busiest period at FLOWERBX, there won’t be any time off. That said, I will hopefully be able to work from our cottage in the Cotswolds and let the kids outdoors to play from sunrise to sunset.

My babies.

What will Christmas look like this year at the Hawkings household?

It will be about togetherness, sharing time and experiences together over gifts. Our days will be filled with cooking, laughing, sleeping, eating and making memories together.

I am so excited about our new, limited edition, hand-made Italian Velvet Christmas tree skirts. After unsuccessfully looking for the perfect skirt for years, we have launched them this year and are selling them in two exclusive colours: deep forest green and rich ruby red.
